Dear Actor, Artist, & Human Being

Dear Actor, Artist, & Human Being
by Mario A. Campanaro
Dear Actor,
Dear Artist,
Dear Human Being,
Have you ever felt like each and every day is just another workday you simply want to end? You sleep the prescribed eight hours, yet wake with zero rejuvenation. Your body feels so weak and fragile that walking a few feet seems like an impossible task. Your mind is so sluggish and foggy that taking in life feels just as chaotic as a New York City traffic jam.
The world feels overwhelming. Everywhere you turn, disappointment grins at you with a conniving eye. You wear a lens of distrust. Your skin morphs into medieval armor. You inhale and exhale caution.
You feel a lack of connection in a world that is supposed to be more connected than ever. You feel out of place. You feel like you are not home. Your friends and family seem distant—or maybe you've chosen distance, not by will, but by the fact that no one seems to understand what you're going through. No one gets it.
So here you are, in this vast world, feeling alone, trying desperately to gain something—anything—that might change your circumstances. Isolation seems inevitable, the obvious choice to protect yourself from this inexplicable personal storm.
Looking “out there,” life seems easy for everyone else. They all seem to be getting ahead. They all seem to be happy, vibrant, peaceful, successful, talented, beautiful, in shape—like they belong on the cover of a yoga magazine or live their best life as a social media star. And that small, envious part in your gut yearns for the same aliveness the outside world seems to enjoy.
After all, you are a creative being. You are an artist, for Pete’s sake. You thirst for life!
And so you sit back thinking:
"My God, they have everything I want.
They have everything I need.
How did I end up like this?
Why does the thing I love cause so much pain?
Why am I not moving forward?
When do I get my chance?
Where is my breakthrough?
Did the Universe forget me?
Someone—something—help me…
PLEASE!!!"
If this feels familiar, you are not alone.
This is a dark and aggressive internal dialogue that secretly plagues many of us while the world appears to have its life together.
Each of us carries an inner monologue—a subtle voice whispering about our current situation. That perception becomes a lens through which we see the world. We convince ourselves that our experience is isolated, that “the others” are to blame. But by doing so, we ignore our role as the lead player in our own reality.
We unconsciously choose thought patterns based on past experiences and replay them instinctively, like a script we never agreed to—creating a film in our mind’s eye that brainwashes us into feeling trapped. And in a way, we are—because it is the reality we’re allowing ourselves to believe. Like a projector, our mind creates the story we focus on. That story becomes our experience.
Let’s get real: no one consciously chooses a painful life. No one wants to stay in strife. We reach for band-aids—mentors, therapists, self-help books, oracle cards, binaural beats, dietary cleanses—in desperate hopes of a fix. But often, even with the best intentions, we don’t get the shift we crave.
And when it doesn’t work, despair creeps in. That voice returns:
"Nothing’s changing.
Maybe I should be a fruitarian.
Maybe this is all karma from eating bacon…"
We brace for the collapse. But nothing comes. No destruction. Just stillness. And finally, tears fall.
You whisper:
"I surrender."
This is where your transformation begins.
The dark night of the soul is your call to alchemy. That inner dissonance is your spiritual alarm clock. This is not an algebraic equation with one formula. Each of us carries a unique imprint of pain and conditioning. And as artists—empaths, intuitives, feelers—we live life deeply. We are truth-seekers and brave messengers. But often, we forget to nurture ourselves.
So what do we do?
We stop.
We unplug from the toxic, chaotic speed of the world.
We stop numbing, stop blaming, and begin healing.
This isn’t a detour. This is the path.
You are not a superhero. You are not a robot. You are a human being with a divine soul. You must become your own medicine. Your own healer. Your own hero. Your own guru.
This awareness is your gift. Your tool. Your medicine.
Once you become aware of your inner monologue, you become conscious. You become the observer of your life. You gain a bird’s-eye view. This is frightening—because it requires responsibility. But here’s the beauty: if you created a story that no longer serves you, you can change it.
Choose patience.
Choose discipline.
Choose self-trust.
Choose love.
Create a new story.
Your potential is astounding.
Imagine what we could collectively do if we all embraced this. If we all healed.
There is a miraculous force within you. An intelligent, trustworthy life force.
It beats your heart. Circulates your blood. Converts food to energy. Breathes life into your lungs.
Yet we still forget. We search “out there.” We believe we are powerless.
But we are not.
We are powerful.
When we tap into that power, we begin to heal. We shift. We face our inner world. We dissolve what no longer serves. We choose truth.
We evolve.
And with that evolution comes light. Growth. A new movie. A new script. A new life.
You may be scared. That’s okay. Fear is the gatekeeper of your expansion. The unknown is vast—and within it lies all possibility.
As awareness grows, you’ll begin to recalibrate—physically, emotionally, spiritually. You'll release what no longer serves. And in that space, light enters.
Your cells will vibrate higher. Your energy will purify.
You will feel again.
Feel fully.
And that’s when it happens:
You remember who you truly are.
This is your rebirth.
As an artist. As a human. As a lightworker.
This is your creative awakening.
You do have what it takes.
You are the answer.
If someone helps you along the way—hallelujah.
But if not, remember:
You are the healer.
You are the alchemist.
You are the artist.
You are the divine one.
There is beauty within the ashes.
Hold on. Keep going.
You’ve got this.
And with that said, here is my hope for you:
A life of peace, love, happiness, health, and dreams realized.
What you're seeking is already seeking you.
Know that everything you are going through—you can transcend.
You do not necessarily need someone to show you the way. The way is already there, within the knowledge of your heart. Listen and feel its messages. It is all there—within.
At times, it may feel like you need to crack it open. It may even hurt a bit. Transformation is not always experienced as what we label “positive.” It has taken an enormous accumulation of emotional and even traumatic experiential toxins to result in a present state of stagnation. As these stored poisons energetically release from your life, there might be an unpleasant cleanse that mirrors the cause.
Be that as it may, trust in the light within the transformation process. It must take place—and you will make it through.
Sometimes, it just takes time.
Be impatiently patient.
Understand this: you have not been forgotten. This is the path to your forgotten power.
You have been turned around and even upside down to awaken you to how strong you truly are. You are being led to your personal and creative freedom. And yet—both are already right there, waiting to embrace you with open arms.
Inside your heart center is the recollection of the way. It is there, waiting to be remembered.
No one ever said it was going to be easy. There will be seasons of strife and struggle. But from those accumulated moments will come your greatest inspirations. They will emerge. So will you.
So again, I remind you:
You are the answer.
You are the healer.
You are the alchemist.
You are the artist.
You are the divine one.
May you see the light in the dark.
May you see the truth over all untruths.
May anything that disturbs your peace dissolve.
And may all that has invaded your well-being become your greatest inspiration toward your own self-realization.
