The Objective

In-Person & Online

We offer both in-person and online coaching to help actors transform two-dimensional characters into fully realized human beings. Through modern technology, we’re able to coach actors globally across all genres, from stage to screen, equipping them with the tools needed to succeed in both mediums. Our approach starts with a detailed breakdown of the material—analyzing the text, identifying key objectives, and exploring the complexities of behavior, psychology, emotions, perceptions, and influences. We then help actors bring these elements to life in exciting, truthful, instinctual, and authentic ways that captivate casting directors and directors. By delving into the deepest layers of the human experience, we empower actors to meet the demands of each role and bring the writer's words to life in a fully realized, impactful performance.

Self-Tape

At MC² Actors Studio, we believe the camera has the power to reveal the true essence of an actor and their talent—it doesn’t lie, it illuminates the artist's soul. While self-tapes can be challenging, they offer the actor a unique opportunity to submit their best work, free from the pressure of a live audition. In our self-tape coaching, the actor is guided through breaking down the sides and exploring the character’s core, helping to make bold, justified choices that feel real, truthful, grounded, and deeply human. The focus is on bringing out authenticity while staying true to the script’s givens, perfecting the eye line, and creating a space where the actor’s unique talent can truly shine. By working with the reader and shaping the environment around them, we ensure that the self-tape captures the actor's performance in its most compelling and honest form.

On-Set

Our on-set coaching offers real-time guidance to help actors stay fully present and grounded in the raw truth of the moment. We support actors in remaining connected to their character and performance, no matter the pressures of the shoot. We encourage actors to embrace spontaneity and authenticity, helping them navigate last-minute script changes, unexpected direction, or time constraints. Our coaching focuses on keeping actors deeply rooted in their character's psychology and objectives, while empowering them to live truthfully from moment to moment—delivering performances that are genuine, raw, unforced, and deeply human. By fostering presence and emotional truth, we help actors stay immersed in the scene and bring their most powerful, authentic work to the screen.

Artist Life Session

Our Artist Life sessions have garnered international recognition for their profound impact on artists personally, creatively, and professionally. Deeply invested in their craft, artists often encounter obstacles and plateaus that trigger internal saboteurs, hindering perseverance, growth, and creativity. We provide the support and guidance necessary to navigate these challenges, overcome limiting beliefs, break through negative self-talk, and empower artists to move forward. From processing critiques and feedback from agents and casting directors to refining audition techniques, cultivating their craft, and diving into text analysis and character development, we also offer strategies for self-promotion, branding, marketing, and industry navigation. We help artists set clear, actionable goals and create tangible steps to hold themselves accountable in pursuing their passions. Think of it as a personal "Roundtable" with a seasoned mentor who understands both the art and the business, offering a safe, transformative space for clarity, overcoming saboteurs, and advancing toward professional artistic fulfillment.
